"Don't be a dick." - Rick Owens

Still fascinated by all of the nice fashion for men this fall, allthough a bit sad at the fact that there are only black clothes. Sure, I like black, as I've told you in the post below, but why does guys always have to be dressed in black? Is black the new black this fall or is it just because it's men's fashion? Anyhow, as usual I will give you a quick runthrough of what I think of as the highlights so far:

Paul Smith

Lanvin

Dior Homme

Cerruti

Dries Van Noten

Givenchy

A/W 09

The other day I was kidding around with two of my friends and we where talking about dressing children and how we would love our children to be all dressed in Acne. I told my friend Helena her children could take over my children's clothing when they had outgrown them, her boyfriend then laughed at me and said "then they would be all dressed in grey and black". The point is that this is so true - I'm boring when it comes to color. If I where to rearrange my wardrobe it would be all in black, white, grey and beige. That same day I had bought two dresses, black dresses, and, believe it or not, three pairs of knee highs in grey and black. What a surprise.

Now, to what I was suppose to write about: men's fashion week! Had a look around on men.style.com and found some things I really liked. Some examples follow:

Junya Wanatabe

Ambition makes you look pretty ugly

Some days I feel a sensation of happiness waking up. This was one of them. Even though I don't sleep well nowadays, meaning I'm tired as hell every day, I can't help feeling happy. Can't describe the feeling, it's just there.

Can't wait for the fashion weeks to start all over the world. My need to see something new is huge, I'm sick and tired of what's sold in most stores right now. Have to see something new, something inspirational. At this moment I'm only using old clothes from the back of my closet, which is great, but at the same time my fashion nerv is itching.

To those of you who are still reading this blog, despite my failures to update this thing, I wish a nice and calm weekend.

Roll out the map and mark it with a pin

Let me tell you about one of my favorite places on earth - Boracay. So far I have been there three times for christmas and new years and every time has been just as wonderful. When I get to think of it my chest aches and I have to remind myself of how lucky I am to have even been there once.

Boracay is where the beach seems to be endless (5 km to be exact) and the sea is turquoise

Boracay is where the sunsets are breathtaking

Boracay is where you can climb in the palm trees on the beach just because there is nothing much else to do when you're nine

Boracay is where every new person you meet is your friend because that is who you'll meet every night until you go home.

Dear Santa

Went to Stockholm this weekend and fell in love. In the city ofcourse. (Not that I think you would suspect otherwise...). Had a fantastic tour around town saturday with my excellent guide Erika and visited a store called Grandpa. Found the most adorable things, but am sorry to say they were a wee bit too expensive for me. Think they would complement my wardrobe in the most exquisite way though. Please take my wishes into consideration...

1. A sweater to keep me warm

2. A dress to make me happy when life is treating me cruel

3. A pair of shoes to take care of my sore feet after a long day at work

Yours sincerely/ Frida
